The WM126 wireless optical mouse from Dell offers you everyday wireless performance with excellent battery life. It is designed to create a clutter-free workspace with a reliable, plug-and-play RF wireless connection. This wireless mouse provides reliable performance and a stable wireless connection through the USB anchored RF wireless dongle. Its plug and play feature allows for easy installation so users can get started using their mouse within minutes, with no confusing software or setup requirements. The small size and wireless performance help to make WM126 wireless optical mouse a great option for on-the-go users.
So I bought this Dell WM-126 wireless mouse for Rs. 697, Which I feel is a little bit on an expensive side comparing it other wireless mouse available in the market from brands like HP, Logitech etc.1) Quality is top notch so no complaints there.2) Size is perfect for my hand.3) About the battery, where a lot of people have complained, will have to wait and judge, as my usage is around 6 to 7 hours day, so I am assuming it won't be that great.Over all a good product from Dell,To sum it up quite satisfied with it.Edit : The battery died on 15th May 2018, that's approximately 65 days of usage with an average of 6 hours of daily on time. That's OK I feel because the Logitech wireless mouse that I used earlier used to last 5 to 6 months with similar usage.
This mouse works really well, but only downside for this is that it eats too much battery, i have to replace battery almost every month, and it does not matter which battery you are using. Be it Duracell or Eveready every battery dies within a month. So If you don't have problem with changing battery very frequently you can go ahead and buy this.
I bought this mouse because it is heavier than other mouse once you insert the battery. A heavier mouse feels more sturdier and in control rather than a simple plastic mouse. One downside is that it uses a lot of power. I have to change the battery every two weeks. Sometimes the laser beam of the mouse turns off automatically, not sure why, since I have to turn the mouse "off" and then "on."Otherwise its a good heavy and compact mouse.
The product is good but the battery does not last more than 3 to 4 month max. I do not want to blame the seller or the product as the battery is Duracell and I asked many of my friends who are using this mouse. The max a battery would last is 4 months on office use. If you are using at home and the usage is less it might last 6to 7 but not a year.
Connectivity : The mouse freezes at least once during 7-8 hours of useage. It has to be switched off / on again to resume. The cursor tends to lag, or move hapahazdly when webpage is loading.I did not have the above problems in the Lenovo N100 or Logitech BT M337 mouse ( on Android and Windows 10) .It is lightweight and clicks are firmer or stiffer than the clicks on Lenovo N100 mouse. Scrolling wheel isn't as smooth or easy to use like the Lenovo N100 mouse. The clicks do make a sound but the scrolling wheel is relatively quiet. Response ( movement, precision ) is not as good as the Lenovo N100 or Logitech BT M337.The mouse receiver is in an USB switch, and I use this mouse for both a Windows 10 mini PC and an Android TV Box. Works on both Windows 10 and Android Nougat. It is a mini mouse - small. I liked that. Some may dislike this.
Frequently getting off automatically. Irritating product & trying to reach Dell customer care to fix the same issue.
The Mouse looses connectivity randomly, needs to be switched off and on. Happens about 3 times a day.
Frequently mouse gets not responding. Pointer goes to "Show Deskop" button on screen and the mouse's optical LED stops blinking. It starts working after restarting the mouse. My money wasted. Looking for new mouse!
